Coventry City face Millwall on Sunday at midday hoping that they can pick up another three points to aid them in their quest for promotion. Mark Robins team has been one of the most impressive teams over the last few years as they have moved through the divisions. After missing out in the playoffs last year, losing the Playoff final on penalties to Luton Town, they will be determined to at least earn another shot at the Premier League again this season. A run of two games where they picked up just a point was brought to an end on Wednesday when they triumphed 4-1 in their FA Cup Fourth Round Replay win over Sheffield Wednesday. They'll have plenty of confidence for this game too, having beaten Millwall comfortably 3-0 at the New Den when the two sides last met back in November 2023.

Millwall will have to overcome some disappointing recent performances to earn what would be a surprise win in the midlands. The Lions five game streak without a win includes an FA Cup Third Round defeat to Leicester City, but they have scored just two goals in their past four Championship games, conceding seven in the process and picking up just one point from that run. Joe Edwards is relatively inexperienced as a head-coach and he is certainly having to learn the difficult way as the Londoners struggle for form. One solace could be their away form, which ranks 11th in the division, whereas their home form ranks 21st. Coventry averafe 2.67 goals per game, Millwall just 2.27, the joint second lowest in the division. That suggests goals may be at a premium in this Sunday lunchtime clash.
