Costa Rica extended their unbeaten run to four games when beating Honduras 1-0 in their opening CONCACAF Gold Cup game. A 39th minute Marco Urena goal gave them the win and another victory here will all but take them into the knock-out stages. The last 16 Costa Rican internationals have only seen two defeats by Panama and Mexico so this is going to be a tough game for the Canadian side. They should have gained some confidence with a 4-2 win over French Guyana in their opening group game but they were 3-0 up at one stage. That's four games unbeaten for the Canadian including a 1-1 draw away to Scotland. Aside from the Scottish game though, their standard of opposition hasn't been that great and their FIFA ranking of 100 is 74 places behind their opponents in this game.
