The Copa Libertadores enters the quarter-final with Chilean club Colo-Colo taking on Argentine giants River Plate at the Estadio Monumental. Let’s get into the match prediction for this clash between Los Albos and Los Millonarios in South America’s most coveted club competition.

Colo-Colo advanced to this stage after winning both legs in a 3-1 aggregate win over Colombian side Junior in the round of 16. After the second leg of that tie, Colo-Colo would go on to rip off another three wins in the Chilean Primera Division, bringing their winning streak to six matches total.

Los Albos would see their winning run halting in their last outing as they fell 3-0 as heavy favourites away from home to Magallanes in the Chilean Cup. Colo-Colo come into this Libertadores fixture on 10 days' rest after their Friday league matchup with Universidad Catolica was postponed.

As for River Plate, the four-time champions of this competition made it past fellow Argentinian side Talleres in their round of 16 battle. They also won both legs of that matchup, capping off the tie with a 2-1 victory in front of the home support.
