The first leg in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup will see Modern Future playing host to Zamalek on Sunday afternoon. The hosts finished second in Group A, while the visitors topped Group B to qualify for the last eight. In addition, they only conceded a single goal in their six group-stage matches, which was against Abu Salim. The visitors have won each of their last five matches against this opponent in all competitions and will be confident of taking a first-leg lead in this match.
