Chile go into this game knowing a draw will see them through to the quarter finals of this tournament. Both sides have three points from their two games so far but Chile lead on goal difference. The Chileans started with a 2-1 defeat to Argentina, that score flattered them as they scored a late goal after conceding two goals in the space of eight second half minutes. They then took on Bolivia and had a much tougher time than expected. Vidal put them one up before a Bolivian equalizer. A draw looked likely but Vidal scored the winner for Chile with a 100th minute penalty. Panama also beat Bolivia in similar fashion, going ahead, seeing the scores leveled and then getting an 87th minute winner. It wasn't so easy in the second game though as they went down 5-0 to Argentina with Messi getting a hat-trick. Four of the goals did come in the last 22 minutes though with Messi's hat-trick taking him just 19 minutes. Having a player sent off in the first half certainly didn't help. Chile are the stronger side and should be able to get the win here that will take them into the last eight and a likely tie with Mexico.
