Chile vs Brazil Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Nella Wagah | in World Cup Predictions
Chile haven’t been doing so well lately and they will hope for a better outing when they host Brazil in the seventh round of matches in the CONMEBOL qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. The hosts are currently seventh in the standings, with six points from six matches while Brazil have managed 18 points so far and are the top nation. Chile’s last international game was against Brazil in the Copa America, they lost 1-0, and having earlier lost 2-0 to Paraguay, they will want to stop the bad run. In their last nine matches, Chile have one clean sheet and both sides have score in six of their last nine matches. They will go to this game without the injured Alexis Sanchez but Chile should have enough quality to replace him. In the current qualifiers, Chile have one win, and going to this game, they have two straight losses against Brazil. Only one of their last five meetings has produced over 2.5 goals while Chile’s last seven games have all ended in under 2.5 goals.
Brazil are one of the two nations that haven’t tasted defeat at the current qualifiers, the other being Argentina. Going to this game, Brazil haven’t had a loss in 23 straight World Cup qualification matches. In their recent matches though, Brazil have been low scorers; they haven’t managed more than a goal in their last four matches. Each of their last five matches has produced under 2.5 goals. Brazil’s last game ended in disappointment, as they lost at home, 1-0 to Argentina in the Copa America final. They will want to put that behind them very fast, as they seek to keep their perfect record so far in the qualifiers. In their last five matches across all competitions, Brazil have three wins and in World Cup qualifiers, they have seven straight wins, with the last four all producing under 2.5 goals.

Our Chile vs Brazil Prediction
Brazil have dominated their matches against Chile lately, but both nations haven’t been scoring a lot. Sticking with that trend, we can expect another low scoring encounter here. Chile will want to take advantage of playing at home but Brazil want to keep their perfect start to the qualifiers. Go for under 2.5 goals.
