Chile vs Bolivia Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Nella Wagah | in World Cup Predictions
Chile’s charge in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers isn’t going well, after registering just one win in their opening five matches. They are set to host Bolivia in the sixth round with the two nations coming from conflicting results. Chile drew 1-1 with Argentina, which saw them drop to seventh place with five points in the CONMEBOL qualification table. Meanwhile Bolivia rose to eighth after beating Venezuela 3-1. Chile head here as favorites but staying out of the top four doesn’t work for them so they will be expected to push for a second win in the qualifiers. They missed Arturo Vidal in their last match but Alexis Sanchez stepped up with the equalizer after Lionel Messi had scored for Argentina. Chile have one clean sheet only in their last five matches but on three occasions, they’ve scored two goals, which places them better off in attack. Both sides have scored in four of their last five matches in World Cup qualification but they are unbeaten in three straight at home, all in which they have scored two goals.
Bolivia are seeking back to back wins after registering their first in these qualifiers when they beat Venezuela in the fifth round. They have now gone unbeaten in two matches after losing each of their opening three in the qualifiers but before beating Venezuela, they had suffered back to back losses in friendly matches. Among those friendly matches was Chile, who claimed a 2-1 win back in March, before Bolivia fell by the same margin in a friendly with Ecuador. Heading to this game, Bolivia haven’t managed a lot of wins; in their last 20 matches, they have three wins, and only one of the wins came in competitive action. They have no clean sheet in their last 16 matches and in 12 of the last 14, they’ve conceded two or more goals. The visitors have however scored in each of their last six matches, and only failed in two of the last 10. In their last three World Cup qualification matches, they’ve scored two or more. Away from home, they’ve been very poor in the World Cup qualifiers, failing to win any of their last 46.

Our Chile vs Bolivia Prediction
Bolivia have a good scoring run, but are poor defensively. Away from home they are even poorer, and especially in World Cup qualification matches. Chile are clearly the favorites here but their defence remains a concern, so both teams to score can do here, with a win for the hosts.
