Chesterfield vs Notts County Prediction & Betting Tips - National League

A place in the EFL is up for grabs at Wembley Stadium this Saturday. Notts County take on Chesterfield in the National League play-offs and let's hope County are the winners. The play-offs do create a lot of excitement but sometimes they are a bit evil. Notts County finished second behind Wrexham in the main season and earned 107 points with 32 wins and just three defeats. They still ended up four points behind Wrexham and had to go into the play-offs. This Saturday they face Chesterfield who finished third but were 23 points behind them, yet they still have a chance of returning to the EFL. In the semi-finals, County nearly lost to Boreham Wood (who finished 35 points behind them) after going 2-0 down at home. A 96th minute goal kept them in the tie and the win was achieved in extra time. Notts County have lost just one of their last 12 games and that was away to Wrexham. 

Chesterfield won seven games less than Notts County in the main season. They also lost 12 games compared to three for their opponents. Yet here they are still in with a chance of getting back into the EFL. They also had problems in the play-off semi-finals and eventually beat Bromley who finished 13 points behind them. After going behind early on, they eventually needed a 103rd minute goal to get a 3-2 victory. Four of their last five matches have been won, the other a 2-0 loss at Bromley. They lost six away games in the main season and earned one point out of six in their two league matches against Notts County. Back justice to be served and Notts County to win this match.
