Chennaiyin will play host to Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League on Saturday. These sides are at opposite ends of the league table, with the hosts at the bottom and the visitors currently leading the way. Chennaiyin have made a very poor start to the season. They have lost both league matches this term and have already conceded five goals. However, their greater concern will likely be at the other end of the pitch, having failed to score in either of those games. They also kept their 100% AFC Cup record intact, beating Maziya 2-1 earlier this week. The Mariners have now won all six of their matches this season across all competitions. However, it is worth noting that five of those matches were at home, and this week’s fixture marks their first away league match this term. Mohun Bagan won only one of their final seven away league fixtures last season (W1 D5 L1). Having made a very good start to the current league campaign, the visitors are the clear favourites in this one.
