Having tasted first win in Frank Lampard’s second managerial stint, Chelsea will hope to keep the spirits up when a relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The hosts are 11th with 42 points and six away from moving into the top-ten, while the visitors are 16th and three points above the relegation zone. A 3-1 win over Bournemouth last week ended a miserable run of seven winless league games for Chelsea. They had lost four in a row before that and a section of their own fans were calculating the mathematical possibility of relegation! That is not a threat anymore and Lampard could set the ball rolling for next season with a fine finish. Setting the home record straight could be the next point on agenda as Chelsea have lost three and drew two of their last five Premier League home matches.

Forest are still battling to avoid relegation starting this round three points above the bottom-three. Safety is in their hands but with Arsenal and Crystal Palace up next, the schedule is definitely not favourable. The visitors are coming off a thrilling 4-3 win over basement club Southampton though, giving them two wins from their last three league matches. Despite being one of the poorest scorers in this league campaign, Forest have managed to find goals consistently of late scoring ten in their last four league matches. Away fortunes remain a challenge in their quest for safety as Forest have lost their last eight away matches in all competitions, seven in the league.
