This fixture usually has a big influence on who's going to win the Premier League. Not so this season though but it's still a very important game for Manchester City. They are fourth in the table and four points ahead of Manchester United in fifth. They need to keep winning to maintain that important Champions League qualification position. Recent form has picked up in the Premier League after a few dodgy results that wrecked their title campaign. The return of Kevin Du Bruyne has played a key role in that improvement. Chelsea lost at Swansea last weekend, their first league loss since Gus Hiddinck replaced Jose Mourinho. That's put their chances of getting in the Europa League in real trouble now with them in tenth place, eight points behind sixth placed West Ham. Home form for Chelsea has been really strange since Hiddinck took over. They have drawn six of their last seven at home (all score draws) and the only win has been against Newcastle and nearly everyone beats them at home. Their only other win in the last ten league home matches has been against Sunderland. Chelsea perhaps don't have that much to play for then while City most certainly do. I go for both teams to score.
