Chelsea had a bad result for the second weekend in a row and now battle to reach the last sixteen of the Champions League as they host Lille. They are third in the group and need to get a better result than Valencia or win this game and see the Spanish side beat group leaders Ajax. It's going to be a tense night and could change a fair few times during the night. What is for certain is that Lille will finish bottom of the group. Chelsea are still fourth in the Premier League but their current form is not good. They have only won one of their last five games in all competitions and lost 3-1 to Everton on Saturday. Chelsea have eight points in this group but if finishing level with Valencia can't go above them due to head-to-head results. They have already lost at home to Valencia in this group and drew 4-4 with Ajax.

Lille are bottom of the group with just one point from their five matches. That was earned against Valencia at home and they lost 2-1 to Chelsea on home soil. Lille have scored three times in this group with 12 conceded, that's four more than any other side. Away form has seen them lose 4-1 in Valencia and 3-0 at Ajax. With nothing to play for in this group it'll be interesting to see just how they approach the match. Domestic form has them win their last three league games but they have one win in their last ten away games in all competitions. Chelsea should win this game but with their form disappointing at present it's hard to totally trust them. Instead, go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in the game.
