Chelsea host Juventus in Group H on Matchday five of the Champions League group stages. The hosts are placed second in the group with nine points from four games while the visitors are at the top of the group with four wins in four straight games and have accumulated twelve points on board. While the hosts have not guaranteed their place in the Champions League knock-outs and the three points at Stamford Bridge will confirm the same, the visitors have already qualified and can be expected to make lots of changes to the side. Chelsea come into the game with a dominating 3-0 win over Leicester City in the away game in the Premier League. The Leicester victory has rendered Chelsea on a nine-match unbeaten run. They are also unbeaten in their last five home matches across all competitions.

Juventus, on the contrary, have been struggling to get going in the Serie A but are a force to be reckoned with in the Champions League. The visitors come into the game with a 2-0 win over Lazio on the road. They are now on a three-game winning streak. However, they have struggled to get the three points in the away fixtures. In fact, Juventus have only won once in their last three away matches which can be a cause of concern against Chelsea who rarely lose games at Stamford Bridge.
