Life doesn't get any easier for Jose Mourinho and Chelsea. Fans are keeping a close eye on the sports news channels waiting for the news to come through that Mourinho has been sacked. So far this season they've lost a total of nine games and last week saw them lose to West Ham, Stoke (on penalties) and Liverpool. This game sees them back on Champions League duty and that's not going too well either. They beat Maccabi Tel Aviv at home and then lost in Porto before drawing in Kiev. That's left them in third place in the group, a point behind Kiev and three behind Porto who should easily beat Maccabi this week.  Chelsea can take heart from the fact that Kiev aren't the greatest of sides on their travels and still have to play Porto away. Just five wins in 33 Champions League group matches played away from home isn't a promising statistic. Chelsea have showed flashes of playing well in their last few games but it's not easy backing them at present. They should be able to beat Kiev in a game they really can't afford to lose unless they fancy Thursday night football later in the season. Not a game to be staking too much on though and if Chelsea lose then put that sports news channel on full time!
