Chelsea can boost their hopes of European qualification with a home win over Burnley. They are 11th in the Premier League with the visitors down in 19th. The Blues are still in the FA Cup so they could yet have European football next season. At the start of this weekend they are five points behind seventh place in the Premier League. Considering all the money that's been spent, their owners must be disappointed at them being in the bottom half of the table. Chelsea have won 11 league games this season but lost ten. Recent form is good though with three of their last four matches in all competitions being won and 12 goals scored. Home form has seen them win their last three league and cup games but they conceded twice in each of them, two against Championship sides. A repeat of the reverse fixure against Burnley would be handy, they won that 4-1 last October.

Burnley are still in deep relegation trouble and are five points from safety. It's all but six because of their appalling -34 goal difference. There's still some hope of survival and four points have been picked up from their last two league games. They drew 2-2 at West Ham (after leading 2-0) and then beat fellow strugglers Brentford 2-1 at home. That win over Brentford ended a run of ten league matches without a win. Their away form has produced only two league wins this season with nine games and 28 goals being conceded. Seven of their last eight away league defeats have seen over 2.5 goals scored in the match. We go for Chelsea to win this match and there being over 2.5 goals scored in the match.
