Chelsea vs Brighton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Tenth placed Chelsea are still trying to find consistency in the Premier League. The Blues host Brighton and Hove Albion who are two places and six points ahead of them after the first 13 games of the season. Chelsea are at least in the top ten but 12 points behind the top four and ten adrift of fifth placed Tottenham. Last week saw them put in another disappointing display away at Newcaslte United, losing 4-1. That was the second successive Premier League fixture in which they have conceded four goals. Their previous game had been a thrilling 4-4 home draw with Manchester City. Only four of their 13 Premier League games have been won and after all the millions spent, they really should be doing better. Just one of their last five league fixtures have been won, that chaotic 4-1 win at Tottenham. Home form at Stamford Bridge has produced just one win in their last 14 Premier League games. That has to improve if they want European football next season.

Doing rather well in Europe are Brighton and Hove Albion. A win at AEK Athens on Thursday took them into the knockout stages of the Europa League. Their form in the Premier League isn't so convincing though and they are four points behind fifth place. The Seagulls have scored 28 league goals this season but conceded 23. Only three Premier League sides have conceded more than them but the same number have scored more. Brighton won at Nottingham Forest last weekend, ending a run of six league games without a win. Our tip here is both teams to score a goal.
