One of the big problems Chelsea have had this season is in their defence. The normally strong at the back side suddenly couldn't stop conceding at least two goals in each Premier League game. Recent weeks though have seen that change and they come into this game having kept three consecutive clean sheets in all competitions. That's something they can really start to build on as they try to climb the table and somehow get into contention for a Champions League place. Wins over Norwich, Maccabi Tel Aviv and a draw at Spurs are encouraging results and a home game against Bournemouth should get three more points. The Cherries are in the relegation zone but have drawn their last two league games somehow. They led 2-0 at woeful Swansea but only drew 2-2 and then trailed at home to Everton 2-0 and 3-2 before getting a last gasp equalizer. Conceding goals and poor away performances is a big problem for Bournemouth who I don't see staying up this season. I go for a Chelsea win here and this might be the game when they start to get a few goals in the back of the net so I go for them on a -1 handicap. Yes, that confidence in Chelsea is gradually returning.
