The Central African Republic will meet Morocco on Tuesday night at the Honneur Stadium for their round four matchup in the AFCON qualifiers. The Wild Beasts are currently third in the group standings with three points while The Atlas Lions sit firmly in first position with nine points. Here is our match prediction.

The Wild Beasts were on the wrong end of an embarrassing 5-0 result to Morocco last time out, with four goals coming before the halftime whistle. 

With two wins from their last five matches, Les Fauves have struggled to produce consistently convincing defensive performances, which has led to them conceding 12 goals in these matches.

However, to add to their woes,  they will not enter this match with any home advantage as this fixture will take place in Oujda, Morocco, due to stadiums in their homeland failing to pass international standards.

The Atlas Lions, meanwhile, continued their dominant form with a scintillating performance last time out that saw Azzedine Ounahi net a brace. 

That result was Morocco’s fifth consecutive win across all competitions, a period during which they have scored a total of 18 goals while conceding just two.

As mentioned, while this is carded as the “away” side, it will be played in Morocco’s backyard, where they have not lost their last 10 matches.
