Celtic - Rangers: Form Analysis
Celtic will know that a win here will send them 12 points clear and will all but confirm this season’s title with seven matches to go. Ange Postecoglou’s men have steamrolled their opponents this season including Rangers and come to this clash having won their last 15 matches across all competitions. They have also won every single one of their 15 matches at home this season in the league. Celtic last lost a home league match at home back in January 2021 and have won 36 of the 40 matches since. Four of those 40 matches have been against Rangers with two wins and a couple of draws and they'll expect nothing but another win on Saturday.
Rangers are one of three teams to have denied Celtic a home victory in the league in that 40-match stretch but they have been on the receiving end too with their two losses seeing them concede seven goals without reply. The record Scottish champions also come into this match in superb form having won five straight matches across all competitions. But this streak should be even longer if not for Celtic who have denied them twice from making it a 20-game winning run. Despite their struggles against Celtic, they will seek a win here to pull within six points of the leaders and will hope sustained pressure sees them retain their title.

Celtic & Rangers Squad Analysis
Kyogo Furuhashi has powered Celtic this season with his goals and leads the top scorers list with 20 strikes to his name. Celtic however have not been overly reliant on his goals with 14 other players scoring at least twice thus far. Jota and Liel Abada have each scored 10 goals in the league but only Jota will be available for selection with Abada out injured. Celtic could also be without the services of defender Greg Taylor who came out injured last time out against Ross County.
For Rangers, Malik Tillman, who has scored 10 goals, will be the player to watch with top scorer Antonio Colak (13 goals) suffering a dip in form. Tillman has scored three goals in the last two matches for Rangers and grabbed both goals in the 2-0 win over Dundee United last time out. Coach Michael Beale is expected to have the same lineup with no injuries emanating from the Dundee game.

A top-of-the-table clash will always be a spectacle but when it involves two rival teams then fireworks should be expected.
