Celtic are 12 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership and a seventh straight league title is just matches away. They have only lost two league games this season and have won 21 out of 31 league games this season. At the weekend they had another win over Ross County who are bottom of the table and now face Dundee who only have two teams below them in the Scottish Premiership table. They are five games unbeaten in the league since a surprise 1-0 loss at Kilmarnock but at home have won ten and drawn five with just eight goals conceded. Such is their domination at home in this league, Celtic are unbeaten in their last 44 home league games since a loss to Motherwell in 2015. Previous games against Dundee this season have seen Celtic beat them three times without conceding a goal.
Dundee are tenth in the table and earned an important point in their battle against relegation when getting a 1-1 home draw with Hearts. With the two sides below them both losing at the weekend, Dundee now have a four point gap over Partick in the relegation play-off place and seven above Ross County who occupy the bottom spot and automatic relegation. That points difference will be narrower by the time this game kicks off as the two teams below them meet on Monday but Dundee will do well to get anything out of two away games this week against the top two sides in the table before the split in the table takes place. Dundee had lost three straight league games before the draw at the weekend but have only one win from their last seven away games. Go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in this game as Celtic march onto the title.
