It’s a relegation six-pointer between Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano in La Liga this weekend, with both teams sitting just above the bottom three. The 18th-placed Cadiz are in the last relegation spot with 22 points, and although five points is a good buffer, Celta can’t be relaxed with their situation. Most of the time, it is their scoring that leaves Rayo high and dry, and their tally of 25 goals is the joint-second lowest in the league after 29 matches. The challenge is to improve their form, which has been very poor, especially on the road. Rayo have lost their last four away league games and have won just one away game going back to the start of December.
