Real Esteli are second in the Nicaraguan Premier League, three points behind league leaders Managua. They travel to Walter Ferretti who are fifth in the table but in poor form coming into this game. Esteli are unbeaten in their last five league games with their last loss coming against third-placed Diriangen. They did manage to get a draw though with Managua and had won four in a row before that stalemate. Away form hasn't been that great with just one win in the last four but they have had a tough fixture list.

Walter Ferretti are nine points behind their opponents but are in terrible form at the moment. They started the season with just one loss in their last eight league games, including a three-match winning streak in March. Since then though they have lost four of their last five league matches. The other game was a 7-0 home thumping of Chinandega who are yet to win an away league game this season. Ferretti have lost two of their last five at home in the league. Another defeat looks likely here, back Real Esteli to get the win and keep the pressure on Managua.
