Universidad Catolica welcomes Sporting Cristal to the Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo in this Copa Libertadores group stage match. Both teams lost their opening match in the competition and will be desperate for a win as another loss could mean them not qualifying from the group stage. Universidad Catolica lost their last league match 2-0 which made it six losses from their last seven matches across all competitions. The defending champions of the Chilean league have been in terrible form and will need an immediate improvement if they are to defend their title. Universidad Catolica have had problems in both attack and defence, failing to keep a clean sheet in their last seven matches.
