Leicester City will be looking to stretch their leadership of the Championship when they travel to Cardiff City in their next Championship game. Cardiff City, coming into this game in 11th place, will be hoping to win and rise into the top six. A 2-2 draw with Plymouth in their last game denied them a chance for a third win in five matches. Cardiff will particularly be gutted after leading 2-1 in the game, then conceding the equalizer in the 66th minute. That result left them with one win in their last four matches, a run in which they suffered two defeats. They haven't managed a clean sheet in their last four matches, and their home form isn’t the best either. Cardiff City have suffered three losses in their last five home matches. Their only win in this run was against Millwall, which also serves as their only clean sheet in five matches at home.

Leicester City look to be on course for a Premier League return. They were just slowed down by the 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in their last game. A late Jannik Vestergaard own goal denied Leister a sixth straight win, after Stephy Mavididi’s first half goal. Drawing with the second placed side would however not feel like a massive drop for Leicester City. They still have a six-point buffer from the second placed side. Their race for automatic promotion is also well on course, being 11 points ahead of the third placed side. Leicester come into this game unbeaten in their last eight matches, having won six times in that run. Five times in their last six matches, the Foxes managed to score two or more goals. They have however failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five away matches.
