Two equally matched teams for sure. Cardiff are in seventh place, a point off the play-off positions with Ipswich right behind them in eighth trailing only on goal difference. Cardiff had won their last two league games before a surprise 2-0 home loss to Leeds United in midweek. That ended a run of 13 home league games without a loss so they'll be looking to bounce back to form immediately here. Ipswich will be tough foes however and have every chance of making it into the play-offs this season. They would have been starting the game in the top six but for a last minute equalizer by Bolton in midweek that cost them the chance of a third straight league win. However, their away form is in danger of costing them dearly this season. Ipswich have just one win in their last six away games and scoring twice at Bolton ended a run of seven games in all competitions without scoring twice away from home. Earlier in the season the two sides drew 0-0 at Portman Road but I think Cardiff's home form should be enough to earn them three points here.
