Canada will host Jamaica in leg two of the quarter-finals in the CONCACAF Nations League on Wednesday. Canada are seeded third while Jamaica were the best-ranked group winners. The hosts currently lead the two-legged tie 2-1 after beating the visitors on their home patch over the weekend. That result marked Canada’s first win in Jamaica in over 30 years. In the first leg, The Reds were quite clearly the better side. They led 1-0 going into the half-time break and fought back well after conceding a questionable equalizer in the second half. Stephen Eustaquio scored the winning goal five minutes before the final whistle. In this competition, the hosts have an all-time home record of 4-0. They also scored two or more goals in each of those victories. Canada only need to avoid defeat to progress and are the bookmakers' favourite. 

Meanwhile, based on the last match, Jamaica will need to make major improvements to stand a chance of overturning this scoreline. While they did fare well in the possession stats in the first leg, they created very few clear-cut chances. Across the 90 minutes, Jamaica managed just six shots at goal and only two on target. That was in stark contrast to their form in the group stages when they topped Group B and were the highest-scoring team in League A. The Raggae Boys have lost two previous quarter-finals to North American opposition and have never won a match in Canada. Jamaica are winless in their last three away matches against The Reds and were outscored 9-1 in that time.
