Cameroon are in prime position to qualify for the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations and can strengthen that position with a win over South Africa. So far in the group, Cameroon have beaten Mauritania 1-0 at home, a game I remember betting on last June and had some nervous moments on my bet on them winning as they didn't get the decisive goal until the 89th minute. Then they travelled to Gambia for another 1-0 win with Aboubakar again scoring their only goal. Now they face two games against South Africa and they should be able to get a couple of wins as they bid to reach the finals. South Africa began this group with a 0-0 draw at home to Gambia but then lost 3-1 away at Mauritiania though the scores were level at 1-1 with 13 minutes to go. It'll make a change for South Africa to be facing a fresh side as their last four games have all been against Angola in this tournament and the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. They won three and lost one of those four matches. Cameroon have only lost one of their last nine games and should be able to get another win here.
