Cameroon will be taking on hosts Gabon in their final group match, which has all the hallmarks of a thriller. Cameroon, with four points, currently top Group A ahead of Burkina Faso and Gabon with two points each. Guinea Bissau sit at the bottom of pile after collecting one point in their opening match against Gabon. Cameroon are yet to prove their mettle having struggled in the first two opening matches and for a team that has played in the tournament 16 teams, winning four times, a draw and a hard-earned victory against a team that is playing the tournament for the first time in history, are not particularly flattering results. Gabon too do not want to be the hosts who dropped out of the tournament at the group stage and will be doing everything they need to avert such an eventuality. The Gabonese drew 1-1 with Burkina Faso in their second match. A win over Cameroon will improve their chances of making it to the next round.
