Cameroon vs Burundi Prediction & Betting Tips - AFCON

One of Cameroon and Burundi, in Group C, will join Namibia at the 2023 AFCON finals in Ivory Coast. They clash in the final group game, hosts Cameroon second and Burundi third, both with four points. Following Kenya’s ban, this group had three teams competing, and leaders Namibia have already booked their slot. The winner between Burundi and Cameroon will top the group, while a draw sends Cameroon through. Cameroon have failed to add to their win over Burundi in Match Day 1 of these qualifiers. They played their most recent qualification game in March, and lost 2-1 to Namibia. Coming into this game they have no win in four matches across all competitions. They’ve however won five of their last 10 matches in AFCON qualification. Cameroon are unbeaten in 21 home matches in AFCON qualification, winning 15.

Burundi kept their hopes alive with a 3-2 win over Namibia at home in their last Group C game. That win, and an earlier draw will give them confidence, being unbeaten in two games coming here. However, conceding two or more in five straight matches will pose some concerns for the visitors. They’ve actually failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 16 matches. Their away run hasn’t been great either; they come into this game without a win in five away matches. In those five away games, Burundi have suffered three losses, and conceded more than once in the last four. The visitors haven't done well in AFCON qualifiers either, winning just two of the last 10. They suffered four losses in the said 10 AFCON qualification matches and away from home, are winless in four.
