In their quest for a top half finish, Cadiz will be looking to collect three points when they host title chasing Real Madrid on Match Day 32 in La Liga. The hosts have been on a good run lately; their three game-unbeaten run seeing them hit 36 points, in 13th place while Real Madrid are second with 67 points. The 0-0 draw with Celta Vigo brought Cadiz’s two-game winning run to an end but it was their second straight clean sheet; quite some improvement, with both sides having scored in the earlier three. They haven’t won a lot lately though, the last 15 league matches producing just four wins, low scores have characterized their recent matches. Under 2.5 goals have been realized in three of Cadiz’s last five matches, and they are unbeaten in the last three at home, with two wins. They beat Real 1-0 in their October meeting, and will be eying a double here.

Real Madrid haven’t kept a clean sheet in the last four meetings with Cadiz and with the injuries they have in defence, that is an area they’ll want to ensure is well guarded. In the last two matches, they’ve kept clean sheets in 0-0 draws and to keep up with fellow title contenders, they need to improve on the showing against Getafe. Going to this game, Real are two points below the league leaders Atletico Madrid, but could drop to third after Barcelona’s game against Getafe. The most admirable thing about Real Madrid is how they’ve managed to cope with key injuries in the squad and go to this game unbeaten in the last 15 matches in all competitions, and lost just once in the last 21 league matches. In the last 11 away league matches, they haven’t lost any and will hope they carry this run to the Ramón de Carranza Stadium.
