18th-placed Cadiz continue their fight against relegation when they host 14th-place Las Palmas for matchday 37 of the Spanish LaLiga. The home side currently find themselves four points behind 17th-place Mallorca with only two games left on the fixture list. Cadiz will, in all likelihood, have to win their remaining two matches to have a shot at surviving the drop. Should they come up short, the Yellow Submarine would drop back down to the Segunda Division for the first time since the 2019/20 season. The visitors’ last outing resulted in a 2-2 home draw with Real Betis. While they weren’t able to get the full three points, the draw at least put an end to an ugly eight match losing streak. Las Palmas have a points total of 38, meaning they are technically not safe from relegation yet. However, a win or a draw in this match would secure their top flight status for another season. Las Palmas have lost their last four matches away from home, scoring only a single goal during that stretch and conceding eight.
