It's been a massive few years for Burton Albion. As a Kettering Town fan I can remember seeing them play my team in non-league football. Now they're in the Championship and Kettering are in the Southern League Premier Division, I'm not jealous at all!!! A string of promotions sees them just one step from being in the Premier League but this season could be a bit of a struggle for them. They kicked their season off with a 4-3 defeat at Nottingham Forest after leading 2-1 at one stage. That was followed up by a 3-2 home win over Bury in the Capital One Cup so two games and twelve goals so far. They were strong at home last season losing just two games and home form is going to be really important for them if they want to avoid an immediate return to League One. Bristol City struggled for a long part of last season but in the end finished 18th and 12 points clear of the relegation zone. Their season began well with a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic (also promoted alongside Burton last year) and then beat Wycombe 1-0 away in the Capital One Cup.
