Burnley vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

In their last match, Burnley gained one point in their push to rise away from the relegation zone and will be hoping for a better result when they host West Bromwich Albion. These two sides are four places apart but are separated by 14 points. Burnley are 15th with 27 points and West Brom 19th on 13 points. Burnley faced one relegation threatened side, Fulham, and after their 1-1 draw, will be up against another here. These are very tricky games for both sides, and a win comes with much gains. Burnley are winless in four home matches and with no clean sheet in the last seven at Turf Moor so this is another big chance to change things. Most of their wins this season in the league have however come at home – four. They have scored in seven of the last nine league matches at home and should just try and improve on the defending. Going to this game, Burnley have one clean sheet in seven matches and won four of their last 10 matches. They aren’t known for scoring a lot; in their last 14 matches, the Clarets have scored two or more in just three. Their concession ratio in matches is also not so high, the team having let in two or more goals in just four of the last 15. In this game though, they may be forced to once again do without key players Ben Mee and Chris Wood who are nursing injuries.

West Bromwich Albion on the other hand, are in much deeper crisis, and relegation seems a big possibility unless they stage a big comeback in the remaining matches. The Baggies are 12 points below the safe zone and head to this game with the least wins in the league – two. No team has conceded more goals than West Brom in the league. They were impressive against Manchester United in their last game, but conceded their 55th goal in the 1-1 draw. The visitors have no clean sheet in their last 15 matches and are winless in their last six. West Brom’s last win came in mid January; that, against Wolves was one of their two wins in the league this season. Their only other win in the league was against Sheffield United. They’ve conceded two or more goals in nine of their last 10 matches and scored more than a goal in just two of 21 league games. Heading to this clash, West Brom have three straight away losses in the league and eight in the 12 played this season.
