Burnley won promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt by winning the Championship last season. A long unbeaten run from Christmas saw them top the table but they have a lot of work to do to avoid immediate relegation. They aren't a team that goes out and spends a lot of money and have been fairly quiet in the transfer window this summer. Home form was strong last season and that'll be important this season because they were appalling away from home last time they were in the Premier League. Swansea were in the relegation zone at Christmas time but put together a decent run to finish 12th in the end. They may well struggle to repeat that feat though having lost Ayew and Williams in the transfer market this week. Two big losses and so far the signings made this summer don't look that great. A lot of work is needed between now and when the summer transfer window closes. Away form last season was poor with ten defeats though they did manage to win at both Arsenal and West Ham so they're yet another Premier League side who know little about consistency. Burnley are pretty good at home and taking a chance on them to get off to a winning start could pay dividends.
