Burnley faces Nottingham Forest in a Premier League game where Nottingham Forest only has to avoid a record-breaking defeat to ensure their safety, but Burnley’s fate is already sealed. The Clarets have already been confirmed as relegated back to the Championship next season. With just two wins at Turf Moor this season, the home fans have had little to cheer, although they have lost just one of their last four home matches. That form has come too little too late for Vincent Kompany and his team. Too many draws, five in their previous ten matches, rather than wins, have been why they have been unable to claw themselves out of the relegation zone. Without their two-point deduction, Forest would already be safe. However, Nuno Santo will know that his team has under-achieved this season based on the level of investment made and there is no doubt that the Forest fans will be expecting more from their team next season in the Premier League. They came into the game on the back of a 3-2 defeat at home against Chelsea last weekend.
