Burnley vs Manchester United Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Neither Burnley or Manchester United have made a good start to the season and three points before the international break would be a godsend for them. Burnley somehow finished seventh in the Premier League last season despite scoring just 36 goals and having a negative goal difference, this time around it's not going well at all. Over 90 minutes they have gone nine league and cup games without a win and Thursday saw them knocked out of the Europa League by Olympiakos. Losing in that competition is the best thing that's happened to them this season as they just haven't got the squad to cope with it. Now they can concentrate on the Premier League and need to having earned just one point from three games. Their attack looks as toothless as ever and that stubborn defence has gone AWOL with at least three goals conceded in three of their last four games. Home form over 90 minutes is poor too with just two wins in 16 fixtures.

It's not going that well for Manchester United either but whereas Burnley are unlikely to sack Dyche as manager, the same can't be said of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. He's in one of his sulky moods again and has seen his team lose two league games in a row conceding six goals. They have three points from three games and that's already six behind the top four, a gap they just can't allow to widen much further. United have the players but Mourinho doesn't seem to know his best team, particularly in defence. Time might just run out for him if they lose this game, especially with two weeks to appoint a new boss before the next league game. United have better players than Burnley who are a shadow of the team that did so well last season. United can be backed to get a win but only because the opposition are almost in as much trouble as they are.
