Burnley vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This might just be one of the most important weekends in the history of Burnley FC. Seventh place in the Premier League will guarantee a place in the Europa League as long as Southampton don't win the FA Cup this season. Burnley currently occupy that position and take on eighth placed Leicester City who are six points behind them, so a win would go a very long way towards securing European football at Turf Moor next season. They had a poor spell of form earlier in the year and that ruled out any challenge for fourth place but they are back at their best now with no defeats in their last five games and four wins in a row coming into this game but all against sides below them in the table. Home form dipped with five league games without a win before a 2-1 win over Everton in their most recent game at Turf Moor.  Only four teams have scored less goals than Burnley in the Premier League this season but just three have conceded less. 32 league games have produced just 59 goals and 22 of those matches have had under 2.5 goals scored in them, which makes you wonder what they'd be capable of if signing a top striker and European football would help their search.

Leicester City had a slow start to the season and but for that would be in the top seven. They do tend to blow hot and cold and will need more consistency if they ever want to get back into title contention, that and a few hundred millions pounds and hanging onto Mahrez. Leicester had gone four league games without defeat before a surprising 2-1 home loss to Newcastle last weekend. Away form has seen them secure wins at West Brom and Brighton in their last two games but before that they had gone five without a win.  This isn't easy to predict but a bet on under 2.5 goals in the game looks one that should be a winner.
