The loss to Tottenham Hotspur left Huddersfield bottom of the log in the Premier League and they remain one of the three winless sides in the league this season, while they have also been eliminated from the League Cup. To face a team that has in the last two matches risen from the relegation region to the 12th position will be a tough one for Huddersfield. Burnley have the momentum and having netted six times in the last two league matches, you'd expect them to be more confident heading to this clash, also after boosting their goal difference by five goals in the last two games. After five winless outings at the start of the season, Burnley have woken up from the slumber and perhaps have recovered from the shock of having to play in Europe early in the season. They managed the second clean sheet of the season in the 4 - 0 win over Bournemouth and as they prepare for their next home game, they will not be faulted to expect another clean sheet, with Huddersfield failing to score in four of their opening seven games. Huddersfield's case is even made harder by the fact that in the last eight away matches in the league, they have not won any, while they have just two wins in 21 away league games and they have failed to score in 13 of the 21 though they have scored in each of the last four. They have one clean sheet in 15 away league matches. Burnley's win over Bournemouth was the first at home in six league matches and fifth in the last 15. While it is not a very good run for them, it places them as favorites compared to Huddersfield and having scored in eight of the last 10 home matches in the league puts them in good favor to score here. Burnley's case is further favored by the fact that they have not lost to Huddersfield in the last five meetings, theough the last two have produced barren draws.
