Burnley are in fifth place in the Championship but if they want to get back in the Premier League it's likely they will have to get promoted via the play-offs. They currently trail second placed Middlesbrough, who they lost to on Tuesday, by eight points. The home side are going through a bad run at present with no wins in their last six league games. That's produced just four points but of those six four have been away from home. At home Burnley are a decent side with ten points from their last five home matches. Charlton dropped into the relegation zone after being held 2-2 by bottom of the table Bolton on Tuesday. That made it four league goals without a win and eight goals conceded. Away form is poor too with just five points from ten league games and only Bolton have earned fewer points. In all competitions they have lost eight of their last nine away games and another defeat loofks likely here.
