The Netherlands missed out on Euro 2016 and are desperate not to be sat at home next year watching the World Cup. It's not easy for them though as they start the weekend in second place in the group three points behind France. With the French away in Luxembourg at the same time as this game in Bulgaria, any slip-up by the Dutch will leave France in a commanding position in the group. So far the Netherlands have won two games, drawn one and lost at home to France, It looks as if the best they can hope for in this group is a play-off place unless they can go to France and get a win.  Bulgaria are in fourth place but only a point behind the Netherlands and a win here will totally change their qualifying campaign. It's not been an easy group for them so far with their first game being a seven-goal thriller at home to Luxembourg with only a 92nd minute goal getting them a 4-3 win after trailing 2-1 at one stage.They took a sixth minute lead in France but ended up losing 4-1 and followed that up with a 3-0 defeat in Sweden. Bulgaria got their second win with a 1-0 victory over Belarus.  A bet on an away win looks the way to go here as the home side struggle big time against the top sides and if Luxembourg can score three there, surely the Dutch can prosper.
