Dutch giants Ajax are among the teams that dropped to the Europa League after third place finishes in their Champions League groups. Here they are, set to play away to Young Boys, with one foot in the quarters after a 3-0 win in Amsterdam. Young Boys have a big task overturning the deficit. In the first leg, they switched off in the second half to allow Davy Klaassen score a 62nd minute opener and two goals followed in the last eight minutes through Dusan Tadic and Brian Brobbey. That was their fourth straight win and they’re now unbeaten in their last 21 matches, drawing three and winning 18. Their last four matches have produced clean sheets and they’ve scored two or more in the four. They also pack up an 11-match unbeaten run away from home which should give them the needed confidence as they go to this game. It would take a lot of carelessness to have Ajax eliminated here after taking a 3-0 lead at home. They haven’t lost that heavily in recent times. The last time they suffered a loss by three goals or more, it was against Feyenoord in the Eredivisie in January 2019. Ajax head to this game having won their last four Europa League matches, but will be wary of their away from in the competition, as they have just one win in the last nine.
