Bristol City vs West Brom Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Devesh Jaganath | in FA Cup Predictions
Championship rivals Bristol City, and West Bromwich Albion will take a break from league action this week to lock horns in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Ashton Gate on Saturday afternoon. The sides are separated by seven points in the Championship standings, with West Brom currently on 41 from 28 games, which puts them in 10th place in the league. West Brom has gotten themselves within three points of third-placed Watford under Carlos Corberan and was narrowly beaten by a wonder strike in their last match against runaway league leader Burnley. The Baggies required a replay to overcome Chesterfield in the last round but have looked excellent since then and will fancy themselves to advance in this one.
Bristol has been in decent form, too, and comes into this one on a six-match unbeaten run, which included four draws and two wins. They are currently 17th in the league, with 33 points in 28 matches, seven points clear of relegation. Their major issue has been in defence, conceding in each of their last five matches. These sides last met on Boxing Day, where West Brom came away as 2-0 winners at this same venue. Bristol has won one and drawn two of their last three home matches and will be hoping they can extend that record to four matches unbeaten with a win in this one.

Our Bristol City vs West Brom Prediction
Bristol has shown that they can be a difficult team to overcome, as their recent form suggests. They required two goes but have already knocked out Swansea from this competition, who are five places above them in the league. However, they come up against one of the most in-form sides at the moment under Carlos Corberan, and we fancy them to do enough to get through to the next round. Our Bristol v West Brom prediction is a win for the visitors.
