Queens Park Rangers will continue their battle to avoid the drop in the Championship when they head to Ashton Gate Stadium to face Bristol City on Saturday evening. The hosts are currently in 11th place in the league standings, while the visitors are the first side in the relegation zone. Bristol City will be full of confidence heading into this match. They put on an excellent performance at this venue to overcome top three opponents Southampton 3-1 in midweek, which followed a 2-1 win away to Middlesbrough last weekend. With those results, The Robins are now on 44 points after 32 games, four points below Coventry City, who currently hold the final playoff spot. At home this season, Bristol have recorded seven wins, three draws and six losses in 16 Championship matches. These sides played out a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture back in November, but the hosts are the clear favourites in this one, according to the bookmakers.  

Meanwhile, Queens Park Rangers look like they are set to battle the drop again this season. They are the first side below the dotted line with 29 points after 32 games, four points below Millwall. QPR were building up some momentum with two draws and two wins over the last month but saw that run snapped up in midweek when they were beaten 1-0 on the road by Stoke City. In away league matches this season, The Hoops have accumulated 15 points out of a possible 48, including four wins, three draws and nine losses, though they have failed to score in three of their last four on the road. However, QPR have won on their last three visits to this venue and cannot be completely ruled out of this one despite their lowly league position.
