Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Steve Ashfield | in Championship Predictions
Bristol City begin the weekend in third place in the Championship and only four points off the automatic promotion places. Wolves are running away with the league this season so there only looks one automatic promotion spot to fight for. City have won their last three league games and have won five out of ten at home. Two of the last three home league games have resulted in a victory for them and they have a big Carabao Cup quarter final against Manchester United in midweek. Hopefully that won't be on their minds as they battle Nottingham Forest looking for three more points. Forest still haven't drawn any of their 21 league games this season, winning ten and losing 11. They have scored 31 goals but already conceded 35 and only four other teams in the Championship have conceded more this season. Away form is the main reason they are seven points adrift of the play-off places. They have won three but lost seven and conceded 22 goals which is the joint worst record with Bolton Wanderers. Forest have lost six of their last seven away league and cup games so a bet on a Bristol City home win is the way to go here.
