Bristol City vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Steve Ashfield | in Championship Predictions
Both these sides are in the top six of the Championship but it's the away team who are in the best form. After the midweek fixtures hosts Bristol City are sixth in the table, a place above Norwich City but only on goal difference. Bristol City got their season off to an impressive start with four straight wins taking them into the top two behind Reading. However, form has dipped in recent weeks. They were close to making it five wins in a row but conceded a 102nd minute penalty and drew 2-2 at Barnsley. Two home games against Middlesbrough and Swansea only produced a poiint, then on Wednesday they lost 1-0 at Bournemouth. That's just two points from four games. Home form has been a problem for the Robins this year. They have only won three of their last 11 played at Ashton Gate, so need to improve if they want to stay in the promotion play-off places.
Norwich City are bidding to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking. They are rather used to this task and like their opponents are only a point off the automatic promotion places. They didn't get off to a great start with just four points earned from their first four league games. Since then though, their form has improved and they won their next three games to move up the table. Tuesday saw them earn a draw at Brentford, thanks to an equalizer three minutes from time. They have seven points from their four away league games this season, the only loss being at unbeaten Bournemouth. With the home side struggling for form, the tip here is for Norwich to get the victory.

Our Bristol City vs Norwich Prediction
Bristol City need to get back in winning ways after a poor run of late. They are sixth after the midweek fixtures but it's a tight league again and they are only four points above 16h. Home form has been a bit of a struggle for them this year and cost them a place in last season's play-offs. Norwich City made a slow start to the season but have picked up well in recent matches. Three of their last four league games have been won and away form has improved. Go for an away win here.
