13th placed Bristol City bid to end a poor run of form in the Championship. It won't be easy doing that as they host Leeds United who are in fourth place and looking for a fifth straight league victory. The hosts are only 13th but just six points behind the final promotion play-off position. The Robins have gone five league matches without a win but are 13 points above the relegation zone. Tuesday night saw them draw 2-2 at Coventry City. They trailed and led in that game but an 86th minute equalizer denied them their first league win since beating Watford last Boxing Day. January saw them enjoy success in the FA Cup knocking out West Ham in the third round in a replay after an away draw. Last week saw them host Nottingham Forest and draw 0-0. City have drawn their last three matches including the last two in the Championship.

Leeds United are only two points behind the final automatic promotion spot but have played a game more than Ipswich Town. After a slow start to the season, the Whites have greatly improved and won 14 of their last 20 league fixtures. The last four have all been won, most recently a 1-0 home win over Norwich City. They are also going well in the FA Cup but were held to a 1-1 home draw by Plymouth Argyle in the fourth round. Leeds have won six away league games this season with the latest being a 3-0 win at Cardiff City. They'd lost the three played before that win but they were all against sides above Bristol City.
