Bristol City vs Birmingham Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Steve Ashfield | in Championship Predictions
Bristol City had gone 13 league games without defeat before losing 3-2 at Norwich City on Saturday. They will be disappointed as twice City had the lead in that match. It takes a good team to beat them though with their last two defeats being at Leeds and Norwich, both in the top three at present. That's two games in a row Bristol City have lost after losing at home to Wolves in the FA Cup. Their home league form is good though with four straight home victories and a win here will take the sixth placed side, five points clear of seventh placed Derby County.
Their opponents are eighth in the Championship and six points behind City but from a game more. Defeat at Bristol City will put a massive dent in their hopes of making the play-offs. Saturday saw them draw 2-2 at home to Blackburn with both goals coming from top scorer Che Adams. It took a goal five minutes from time to get a point though. There have been plenty of dents to their promotion hopes as Birmingham have only won two of their last nine league games. Only one of their last four away league games have been won and in each of their lastt three, they have conceded three goals. Bristol City were unlucky to lose at Norwich and back at home, they can get three points from this game.

Our Bristol City vs Birmingham Prediction
Bristol City need to bounce back fro their FA Cup and league losses but were unlucky at Norwich on Saturday. They are strong at home with four straight league wins and take on a faltering Birmingham City. Bristol City have to keep their eyes on Che Adams but Birmingham are struggling for points on their travels and conceding too many goals. The tip here is for a home win.
