Western United will be looking to continue their late-season push in the A-League when they travel to Suncorp Stadium to face Brisbane Roar on Tuesday. The Roar are bottom of the table, while Western are third after 23 games. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Brisbane Roar will likely be happy to see the end of the season, having endured a dismal campaign, managing just 11 points from 22 matches, which sees them rooted to the foot of the table. 

The Roar suffered their 15th defeat of the term last week, 3-2 away to Melbourne City, marking their third loss in succession. They also conceded two or more goals in each of those three defeats.

They will now return to Suncorp Stadium, where they have been atrocious this season, earning just a single point in 10 matches to date, while failing to score in three of their last five. 

Meanwhile, Western United will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways here after getting their five-match win streak snapped by Western Sydney Wanderers on the road last week. 

Prior to that, Western were in excellent goal-scoring form, netting two or more in nine of their 10 preceding games, with the exception being a 2-0 defeat to league leaders Auckland. 

The visitors have also been impressive on the road this season, losing only two of their last 10 away matches (W7 D1 L2), while netting two or more goals in the remaining eight games.
