Eighth placed Brighton and Hove Albion host West Ham United who are in 16th place. It's been another good week for Brighton with a win at Stoke City in the FA Cup fifth round. Even better they were then drawn at home to League Two Grimsby in the quarter finals. Albion may well have a Wembley appearance to look forward to but now return to the Premier League. The Seagulls are ten points behind the final Champions League spot but do have three games in hand on Tottenham. Brighton would be closer if their home league form was better. Four home games have been lost but five of the 11 have been won. They have won two of the last three but lost the last one to Fulham who scored the winner in the 88th minute.

West Ham United are only two points clear of the bottom three. They lost in the FA Cup fifth round in midweek going down 3-1 at Manchester United. That was despite leading going into the 77th minute and then conceding in the 90th and 95th minutes. That defeat followed a 4-0 home league win over Nottingham Forest last weekend. The problem with the Hammers is that their away form leaves a lot to be desired. They have won just one of their 12 away Premier League games this season. That sole away victory came in August at Aston Villa. Since then, West Ham have only earned three points from ten matches on the road. Our tip here is for Brighton to get a home win.
