Brighton vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
This is a vital game down at the bottom of the English Premier League. Brighton and Hove Albion are 15th but a win for 19th placed Watford will take them level on points with the south coast side. Brighton did well last week to grab a point at West Ham and start the weekend two points clear of the bottom three. Their ideal weekend would be a home win and defeats for West Ham (at Manchester City) and Bournemouth (at Sheffield United). They are on a bad run though with no wins in their last five league games and only a home win over struggling Bournemouth in the last 11. Home form has seen Brighton win one of their last six, all a bit disappointing after that run of three wins in a row that took them into the top ten.
Watford are one from bottom of the table but only a couple of points from safety. A win here will take them out of the bottom three unless West Ham can win away at Manchester City. The Hornets had made steady progress under Nigel Pearson to greatly improve their chances of avoiding relegation to the Championship. Form has slipped again of late though with an FA Cup exit at the hands of League One Tranmere and one point from their last three league games. It could have all been so different if they'd held onto that 2-0 home lead over Everton last weekend. They are scoring goals though with only Tottenham keeping a clean sheet against them in their last eight league matches. On their travels, they have four points from their last three away league matches, scoring in each of them. A bet on both teams to score is the one to go for here.

Our Brighton vs Watford Prediction
A win for either of these sides will boost their hopes of surviving relegation. A loss won't help them though and both sides are inconsistent at present. Brighton concede too many goals (six in their last two league games) but have only failed to score in one of their last eight at home. Watford have slipped a bit of late but still have a good chance of getting out of the bottom three. They regularly get on the scoresheet and the tip here is for both teams to score.
All tips are fully researched and given in good faith, but profits cannot be guaranteed.
